A Different kind Of Honey are going to take you on a
journey thru a lot of different beehives …everybody, verybody
erybody rybody y-body body ody dy y get ready for their sweet
honeyed music and their bee sting lyrics. Written and conceived by
Jane Kennaway a very versatile songwriter previously with Virgin
Publishing and London Records ….a journey into the past in itself!
Their songs vary from acoustic to heavy guitar
techno. Experimental new sounds and lyrics that entice the audience
to get the body bouncing along... Subject matter is up to date and
topical, ranging from songs such as Binn Laden to Bored Housewife,
with something for everyone to relate to. The band have an original
look and a great stage manner which will keep everyone enthused and
craving more...
A Different Kind of Honey is an
eclectic mix of music refugees all fleeing from the norm with Jane
Kennaway on vocals and electric guitar, Neil Allen on bass,
harmonica, banjo and slide guitar, Jess Harman on keyboards, Lin
Demure on vocals and percussion and Dylan Kennaway, on percussion
and keyboards.
Formed quite recently as a result of a phone call
with Stephen Rodway who wanted a band up and running to produce some
of Jane’s songs. A Different Kind Of Honey have been out and about
round Cornwall and Gloucestershire …… soon to be at Thimbleberry
with all of you……….
