What happened? Absolutely nothing, the meeting was a sham, it was predetermined that the hearing would be adjourned with most parties (not all) told not to attend. They went through the sham of opening the meeting, introducing everyone then, without allowing anyone to talk, it was adjourned, no date given for when it is to be reconvened and no consideration given to any of the parties involved. What stood out was the lack of respect; the Councillors all had water but no one else did. I remember reading about this sort of thing in a book, Animal Farm.

Further happenings during THIMBLEBerrY

 Many vehicles including one minibus from Durham were turned back by the police in Stanhope “Don’t go to Thimbleberry it’s an illegal event and we are about to close it down” or similar they said, Why?... Just like the Helicopter going out of their way to be difficult. What a waste of Money!
